New albums from spiritual chant artists Krishna Das, Wah! and Wade Morissette
September 16th, 2008 (Vancouver, BC) - Nutone Music celebrates the launch of the label with the release of new albums from Krishna Das, Wah! and Wade Imre Morissette on September 16th.
Krishna Das will release Heart Full Of Soul, a full live concert experience with more than 2 hours of kirtan chant recorded live in Los Angeles. Just back from South America where more than 2,000 fans gathered at the Yoga for Peace Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil, he will next perform in New York City to a sold out crowd of 1,200.
Wah’s release Love Holding Love showcases the chill vibes her fans have been drawn to and highlights new sounds in her dance track remixes. Additional dates for her fall tour include in New York City, Phoenix, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Wade Imre Morrissette's Maha Moha: The Great Delusion is the result of a unique collaboration with the award-winning producer David Nichtern. His original blend of indie pop music with Sanskrit mantra chants and English lyrics can be heard live at release events scheduled in Los Angeles, New York City and Vancouver.
Music industry innovator Terry McBride, CEO of Nettwerk Music Group and dedicated Yoga practitioner, is set to combine his two principle passions in the re-launch of NUTONE MUSIC. Encompassing music from the realm of devotional chant, world beat and beyond, NUTONE is dedicated to the development of a new genre within today’s musical landscape.
McBride explains, “Nutone's mission is to seek out what we feel is the best music that fits into the modern day Yoga studio, various wellness practices and everyday enjoyment of music.
